maxSHELL®


With the maxSHELL® process, developed by KED®, the outer shell is irreversibly bonded to the EPS inner shell in a second working stage. The composite reacts is much more flexible under pressure than inmold helmets.

The advantages:


- Allows maximum coverage of the EPS inner shell
- More attractive, brighter effects and innovative matt-glossy textures on the outer shell due to production in the maxSHELL® process
- Perfect processing with precise and accurate edge transitions due to the subsequent attachment of the robot-cut outer shell
- Larger downshell area for improved protection and durability in tough everyday use

  • Quicksafe®


    Test results confirm the excellent comfort and optimum fit of KED® helmets in international comparison again and again. For an individual fit, KED® has developed an intelligent adjustment system which convinces with its simple use.

  • Active visibility


    Active illuminated flashing LEDs can be seen better than reflectors. Each QUICKSAFE® and QUICKSAFE TRONIC® adjustment system has 4 long-distance highly visible LEDs (all models supplier with an additional rear reflector from 2011).

Quickstopp®

  • Using the patented QUICKSTOPP® system, the strap length is adjusted as required and symmetrically locked in the centre of the helmet.

Insect Net

  • Stops insects finding their way into the helmet. The net is integrated between the microshell and EPS inner shell in the helmet and therefore offers sufficient clearance between the insect's sting and your head.

Visor Sunglass

  • The innovative visor with integrated lens protects your eyes against UV rays, twigs and wind without limiting your field of vision.
